The global situation involving COVID-19 is continuing to alter the method in which businesses provide for their customers. In times such as these, we want to reassure you that the Penner Farm Services Group is committed to serving you, our farming partners. Your farm, your business, is an essential service – not just in this time of uncertainty but every day of the year, which is why the government has included businesses such as ours as essential as well. This allows our parts, service and sales departments to remain open through non-essential-business shut downs, assisting you in keeping your operation running smoothly and without disruption.
We have implemented a number of precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our employees and customers, and to continue to serve without interruption.
When visiting our stores, we ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided, and respect the barriers to keep us at a safe distance from one another. If you wish to minimize contact, we are more than happy to accept phone orders and bring them outside to you! If no contact is desired, we can leave your order in a designated area outside.
Supporting our service technicians at this time is crucial for your farm, and your fellow Ag producers. Please communicate via phone and provide them more than the required 6ft of space. We are also offering service consultations and calls via video conferencing at this time!
Route Truck deliveries will continue uninterrupted – we ask that you give them the same space and (temporary) lack of contact as you would with our service techs.
Within our organization, we have a number of measures in place including enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols for our buildings and vehicles, encouraging staff to work-from-home, and following Provincial Health mandates for social distancing, self-isolation, travel cancellations and restricting face-to-face meetings in favor of tele/video conferencing. Our desire is to keep our staff and your personnel safe and healthy through this uncertainty. Our goal is to continue with uninterrupted services to you, our farming partners. Rest assured, no matter the next steps in mitigating the outbreak, we plan to continue offering reliable service to keep your farm fully operational.
