Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our Winnipeg, MB or Steinbach, MB ocations. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our in-store pickup hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

International Shipping

At this time, we are handling International orders on a case by case basis, due to the products we carry and the limitations some of them come with.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 2 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at orders@horizonhasit.ca with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

For all product exchanges and returns:

  1. Please email returns@pennerfarmservice.com with your order number and details of your return.
    • If a product is defective, or damaged in shipping, you will be issued a prepaid return shipping label. In all other cases, the buyer is responsible for return shipping (and tracking/insurance) and may ship back the item using a carrier of their choice.
  2. If the item(s) have been used or have been in contact with any animals and/or equipment, we will exchange your product for store credit once we receive the original purchase.
  3. If your item(s) have not been in contact with any animals and/or equipment, a full refund will be acceptable.
  4. The following items are not refundable and cannot be exchanged:
    • Feed, salt blocks, mineral blocks
    • All liquids
    • Dust masks, gloves, eye protection
  5. Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
  6. If you believe your package was damaged in shipping, we require that you contact us within 5 days of delivery, and we will work with you to quickly resolve the issue.
  7. Please include original packing, the receipt, and the original packing slip.
  8. To cancel an order, please contact Horizon Livestock as soon as possible. If your order has not yet shipped, we will immediately refund your payment. If your order has shipped, we will refund the payment as soon as we receive the item(s) back from you and processed in our warehouse.
  9. All refund participants will receive an email confirmation.
